Gucci Mane Baby Momma Wants $20K in Child Support

Gucci Mane is living his life to the fullest! The world sees GUWAP getting it – including his Baby Momma.

She wants an increase from $2,076 a month to $20K a month for their 11 Year old son Keitheon.

Gucci ain’t havin’ that! He’s aiming to have the entire case thrown out completely.

According to Hot New Hip Hop:

“Gucci has since responded to the suit and completely denied that his wedding actually costed $1M. He also said that his income hasn’t changed since 2011 and that he’s been paying for the child’s medical expenses and health insurance. He wants the entire case thrown out and doesn’t think that an increase in child support payments to Evans is necessary.”

Gucci’s baby momma is claiming that:

“Gucci Mane wasn’t making as much money back then, but over the past few years, he’s been banking it from his career which includes his major comeback after prison and his BET wedding special.”

#StudyingWhileBlack: A Racist White Librarian Calls Police

#StudyingWhileBlack has broken out on the internet all due to a racist white librarian caught on video. She called the police on an African-American student for what seems to be for no apparent reason, as shown in the video.

Just last week another instance like this happened where a white woman wouldn’t allow a black man to enter into his own apartment building, with the suspicion that he wasn’t a building tenant.

This is truly getting ridiculous as it seems the madness is growing. Watch the video below.

Samsung and Apple Fined For Malfunctioning Their Phones

1

Samsung and Apple are getting fined 5 Million Euros (approximately $5,697,130 USD) for purposely nosediving their customer’s cell phone experiences. Apple is getting hit with an extra 5 Million Euros on top of the initial 5M for not giving proper information on how customers can replace their batteries after normal wear and tear.

After Apple admitted to slowing down older iPhone models to increase the battery life in its devices, people began accusing the tech giant of making older phones obsolete so that the upgrade to a newer one would be necessary.

Samsung didn’t have that issue, but they’re still getting hit with a hefty fine for the purposeful malfunction.

Here’s Why John Henry Is An Important Black Figure

In a recent interview, Michael B. Jordan said “We don’t have any mythology, black mythology, or folklore.Creating our own mythology is very important because it helps dream. You help people dream.” While the intentions behind the statement were likely good, there is a big problem with what he said. Black people absolutely have our own mythology and folklore, just as rich as any other culture.
Throughout the African diaspora, there are so many different stories of creatures and gods that have been passed down for generations. Jordan’s comments reveal an ignorance which many people have about black mythology. Since it is not taught as much as other mythologies, like Greek and Norse, there is generally a lack of knowledge surrounding it. However, that does not mean that black mythology does not exist. It’s possible to defend Jordan’s lack of knowledge on African culture on him being disconnected from Africa as African American. However, black Americans have our own folklore too. We have many heroes who have been shining examples of bravery and courage, like John Henry.

John Henry Is An Important Black Figure-1

John Henry’s story has been passed down for centuries through films, books, songs, and poems. Sometimes, John is in Virginia in the tales and other times he’s in Alabama. However, the core plot of his story always stays the same. John Henry was a black railroad worker somewhere in the south during the 19th century. He was the strongest and fastest worker that there was. One day, a salesman comes along with a steam-powered machine that was supposedly able to outwork any man. John Henry decided to test that theory. A race between the John and machine on who could drill faster was set up. John won the race but died due to the stress that it put on his body.

Though John Henry was just a railroad worker, he is a hero to African American. John is an example of how strong and resilient we are. John’s determination to not let the machine replace him is the same as black people who have refused to simply die under white supremacy for over 400 years. Even though he died, John Henry was not afraid of fighting back. He shows the black people that they do not have sit and take whatever is being thrown at them. He fought back and continue to fight back until he died. John Henry, a black man in the south during the Jim Crow era, declared that he would not back down. That powerful message to African Americans shows us that we have the power to push back against our oppression.

There is a reason that John Henry’s story has been constantly told. His strength inspires us to be our strongest selves. African Americans are constantly being reminded of our history of slavery and being the victims of white supremacy. Our history has been stained by the harm that came to our ancestors. Seeing a black man stand strong when everything is against him shows us that there is more to our lives than suffering from racism. John Henry shows us how strong we can be. He shows us how much power we truly have.

A black person might not have the muscles that John Henry had. However, they have something that they do well. Based on that John Henry’s example, they can do whatever they want, powerfully, despite what is against them. John Henry is truly an inspiration to black people everywhere. His story deserves to be told much more frequently than it is. Black kids deserve to have a hero who makes them powerful. They should know that they have their own folklore and mythology and it is beautiful.

Buzzing San Antonio natives and now Los Angeles-based hip-hop band Minus Gravity release their single Options along with its music video today. The track was produced by Grammy award-winner Rich Skillz [Robin Thicke, Nas, Ludacris].

“Options” showcases the trio’s hypnotic hybrid of hip-hop, and R&B.  It shows a diversity of sound from sharp rhymes and catchy chants with an unpredictable beat to a hash-tag-able hook. Meanwhile, the hazy and rowdy music video brings the lyrics to life as Minus Gravity wild out with a bevy of ladies and overflowing champagne.

“Options” paves the way for more music to come from the group as well as a forthcoming EP.  Minus Gravity might just be the rockstars hip-hop has been waiting for all along.

Fueled by Pangeaux’s smooth delivery and Loski’s rugged verse, the two add a new element to the wave of music that is not bounded by form and style. “4am In The Hill$” proves to be a great preview of creating emotive music, rather than just hits. Watch: Jordan Hollywood X Lil Baby – “Let Me Find Out”

2

Today 25-year-old rapper-singer-songwriter and Broward Country native, Jordan Hollywood releases the music video for his Quality Control Music debut single “ Let Me Find Out” featuring Lil Baby.

The video features cameos from Offset and QC head-honcho Pee!  Watch as Jordan settles into his adopted home of West End Atlanta where he hangs with the neighborhood’s finest. A trap house is turned into a hot spot for tattooing, dancing, and throwing away your money for entertainment.

Jordan decided to shoot his first video in Atlanta to show love for the city and his newfound QC family. “It finds Hollywood turning up in the West End neighborhood of Atlanta, where he and his crew have transformed a front yard into a makeshift casino.” -COMPLEX

Jordan has been in the game as a co-writer for French Montana, Jason Derulo, and more. He also spent time ghostwriting for different rappers. Jordan has been releasing music since 2011 and has collaborated with Yo Gotti, Tory Lanez, Lil Durk, Bam Savage, and platinum record making producer Smash David (Big Sean, Khalid, Chris Brown).

HotNewHipHop praised his songwriting ability, “Jordan Hollywood is one of those songwriters who lurks in the shadows and cranks out hits.” In 2016 Jordan dropped his critically acclaimed album Sorry For This which includes his biggest hit to date “Trill Shit”. Now with “Let Me Find Out” Jordan is ready to pave his own lane in the industry. Jordan has an EP on the horizon –which he engineered all of the songs on-.

The multi-versed rapper-singer-songwriter gained momentum through releasing music online since he was a teenager. He comes from the diverse Broward County, the same area that spawned a slew of rappers from Kodak Black, Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, and the late XXXTENTACION.

“Jordan is a very talented creative artist who’s very in tuned with the process being great. I’m excited for the world to experience his work,” said Coach K on Jordan’s signing. Pee added, “Jordan has an eye for detail that causes his visions to come to life. We look forward to the release of his project as we expand the QC brand.”

“Let Me Find Out” is eclectic and smooth as Jordan croons and raps about leaving behind the fake ones and sticking with your real ones. Lil Baby’s soft-swagger tone complements the trance-like melody and Jordan’s fluid flow.
