French Artist Petit Biscuit Tackles Pain In New “Suffer” Visual

1

18-year-old French artist Petit Biscuit unveils the video for “Suffer” featuring Swedish vocalist Skott. Speaking on the video Petit Biscuit states;

“We asked Theo & Akim, the two directors, to write a story that was about fire, with a darker atmosphere,I love how they turned this into a weird love story, with all those flashbacks that the girl has, of what was once good then turned bad. It’s telling us about how our memories are important to build ourselves, even if it hurts a lot remembering them.”

“I was excited to write on the track when Petit Biscuit sent it over, it’s full of wild energy,” Skott adds. “The lyrics are about the two sides of loneliness—on one hand it can be isolating, but on the other it can be liberating or empowering to be on your own. And I feel like the video kind of leaves it open to interpretation. While the burning girl is symbolism for pain and suffering, she also comes out of it alive and unharmed, with almost a sense of determination in her walk. Like she’s gone through some stuff and come out stronger.”

“Suffer” debuted earlier this month alongside the instrumental ‘Safe’. The tracks are the first new music from Petit Biscuit since the release of his acclaimed debut album ‘Presence’ last November. Petit Biscuit is currently in the midst of his largest North American tour to date, where Petit Biscuit will spend his 19th birthday on stage exactly one year after releasing ‘Presence’.

The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer’s debut album ‘Presence’ has charted worldwide and continues to receive extensive acclaim from the likes of Clash Magazine, Earmilk, Billboard, This Song Is Sick among others. A classically trained musician from a young age, Petit Biscuit—a.k.a. Mehdi Benjelloun—plays piano, guitar, cello and more, and began experimenting with electronics to form his signature sound at age 11. ‘Presence’ is heavily informed by his schooling, combining acoustic elements with innovative electronic production and his trademark vocal manipulations.

Bobby J From Rockaway Is Hip Hop In The Flesh With “Walter White”

1

From cooking up his music in the “lab” to donning the trademark hazmat suit, Bobby J From Rockaway becomes the Hip-Hop version of “Walter White” in his new video dedicated in part to the Breaking Bad protagonist himself.

Everything about the visuals perfectly pays tribute to the classic AMC show, and there’s no detail that director Llama and his team glossed over. There’s the clever play on the Periodic Table of Elements in the intro, the blue smoke pouring out of the Retro RV’s roof, and of course Bobby wearing the yellow hazmat attire, not to mention other little details that will make Breaking Bad fans wish the show was still on the air.

And then there’s the track itself, of course, which remains just as fiery as when it was released as a single a few weeks back. From Statik Selektah’s superb production to Bobby’s slick verses, “Walter White” is one of the best cuts we’ve heard from the Queens native to date. He’s got more new material on the way, too, so it’s time you got familiar.

Check out the visuals and head over to the digital outlet of your choice to support “Walter White” out now, via Make Noise!

Floyd will perhaps always have a target on his back when it comes to the world of entertainment.

The former welterweight champion has defied just about every barrier when it comes to stardom. From the boxing ring, to the wrestling ring, money is sure to follow when you hear the name Mayweather.

Imagine waking up one morning, after hearing months of talks about Floyd getting into MMA and it’s officially confirmed? Well that’s what happen yesterday morning. Pretty Boy Floyd confirmed in a news conference in Tokyo that he would be facing an undefeated 20 year old kickboxer by the name of Tenshin Nasukawa.

Of course this will help to build up to a mega fight perhaps against Conor Mcgregor, or another fighter with his reputation. Either way several of Champ’s colleagues took to social media to speak their mind regarding Floyd’s upcoming bout:

The Chicago native has been in the news throughout 2018 from being open about his former prescription addiction to his support of slum President known as Donald Trump. It seems like everyone wants a piece of Kanye, and Burger King decided to give it a shot.

Burger King U.K.’s Twitter account took part in a quick roasting after seeing Kanye’s tweet about Mcdonalds.  They replied “Explains a lot”, which caused a stream of impressions over Twitter.

These City Girls Can Hold There Own in “Period” (We Live)

59

One of the most provocative female hip-hop duo in years, the Miami duo of JT and Yung Miami are the next generation of female rappers. On their acclaimed debut project, PERIOD, City Girls speak out as raw and confident — and with as much swagger– as the boys do, ultimately flipping the script on Hip Hop.

And people are listening. With nearly 100 million streams, JT and Young Miami are uncensored, unapologetic, sharing a commitment to their hood roots and a bold insistence that the culture they come from should stop them from getting a piece of the cash pie.

Most recently City Girls caught the ear of Drake, an early fan who recruited them for his 10-week chart topping song “In My Feelings.” It’s not all about Kiki – When the City Girls rap “I’ll show you how to network. F*ck that Netflix and chill; what’s your net worth?” they unapologetically rap about sexual and financial empowerment, and they are looking for any broke boys.

As Refinery29 states: This emerging group taps into the same enterprising spirit applauded in male rappers when they wax poetic about selling drugs or pimping to escape bleak financial circumstance. This female version is just as inspiring. The male gaze only succeeds in objectifying women when the sole outcome considered is male gratification. City Girls set the terms of engagement for a payday they’ve orchestrated.”

With JT currently serving her sentence for credit card fraud, City Girls worked hard and banked a lot of material before she went in. As Yung Miami states: “It is a minor setback for a major comeback.”

Coach K and Pierre “Pee” Thomas of the renowned Quality Control Music label discovered the girls and took their first song “Fu*k Dat N****” from a regional hit to a national smash when it appeared on the seminal Quality Control Presents: Control The Streets Vol 1 compilation. This year Quality Control Music released City Girls’ uncensored heart-wrenching documentary”Point Blank Period“.

The documentary follows the City Girls as they break into a predominantly male-dominated industry with the release of Period. It features their reactions to hearing Drake shout them out on his record to JT working in the studio until her jail sentence starts.  Exclusive interviews are included with Yung Miami and J.T., as well as industry trailblazersTrina, Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas, exposing the complicated road to breaking female artists in the changing music landscape

T.I. is all about the money, and surely may have to pay up.

Tip Harris is being allegedly being linked to a cryptocurrency scam called FLICK Tokens worth $1.3 million dollars.

Tip is truly disheartened by the lawsuit,” T.I.’s lawyer, Albert A. Chapar Jr., tells The Blast. “Tip did not receive a single dollar from Felton or any of the money alleged to have been invested by the Plaintiffs, nor did he have any ownership of the company.”

Investors claim Felton and T.I., allegedly drove up the price of the new cryptocurrency using their money, “dumped” the tokens, then disappeared.  At the moment fingers are pointing back and forth as Felton believes that Mr. Harris gave the tokens to family and friends. In return the sold massive amounts of crypto caused rapid devaluation.
