Big Trip returns with a reminiscent track to the early 2000s for his latest release in the sensitive new single, “Just Bein Honest.” Produced by Gabriel Eli, the song takes from the classic Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams hit, “Drop It Like Its Hot,” as the rising star expresses his honesty through his confidence over the catchy 808s.The track is undeniable from beginning to end.
“Just Bein Honest” displays Big Trip’s hypnotizing songwriting skills and hit-making capabilities with a unique production. “I got in my bag on this track and wanted to create something that’s never been heard before,” said Big Trip. “I wanted every bar and every flow to showcase my ability with a unique beat. I crafted a vibe anyone can bop to while showing lyricists I can hang with the best.”
From Tennessee, Big Trip built a name for himself touring with heavyweight acts like G-Eazy, G Herbo, and Marc E. Bassy. While touring, Big Trip’s music exploded on to the charts with a debut at #5 and #36 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and #105 on the Top 200.
