Bad Bunny Appearance Last Night’s Carpool Karaoke

In the two years since he dropped his YHLQMDLG, Bad Bunny has gone from being a Soundcloud phenom to a global superstar with a track record of breaking barriers in music. The Puerto Rican maverick has pushed the boundaries of genres, raised political awareness through his music, and given his people proud anthems to rally around.

In the most recent installment of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the host reserved a special treat for his final Carpool Karaoke segment: none other than the global music sensation, Bad Bunny! The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist, also known as Benito Ocasio Martinez, joined James Corden in his car, belting out one of his chart-topping tunes with exuberance.

    “Moscow Mule”

The Spanish-language hit from 2023 has topped YouTube’s most streamed songs list, accumulating over 1 billion streams. It’s the first song from an artist to achieve such a colossal figure, and Bad Bunny’s deep lyrics, paired with the trap-heavy sound of this track, have made it a classic.

    “Tu No Vive Asi”

A fan favorite, this trap anthem features an ominous beat flip from Dominican dembow godfather El Alfa and Bad Bunny’s signature electric interplay with Kendo Kaponi. It’s a wistful, intimate moment between the Puerto Rican singer and his Dominican colleague that’s been a staple on reggaeton radio playlists for a while now.

    “La Dificil”

On this wistful ode to a past lover, Bad Bunny reminisces about how their relationship was once so special. Tainy’s production adds a muted trumpet line that keeps the track grounded, but it’s his own voice that brings it to life.
