Adrien Broner Dances While Handcuffed by Police Following Los Angeles Detainment

Former four-division boxing champion Adrien Broner turned a Beverly Hills police stop into another viral livestream moment on the evening of October 25, 2026, dancing with his hands raised as officers handcuffed him during a music video shoot with Kick streamer DeenTheGreat.

Broner, 37, known as “The Problem,” was among a large group of roughly 50 people filming on the streets of Beverly Hills when police responded as part of an investigation into a large street gathering in a residential area. According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, the former champion was detained during a related traffic stop.

Video that quickly spread across X shows Broner in a light gray hoodie and matching pants, walking backwards and dancing toward officers with his hands up while police lights flash and a black van sits nearby. He continues streaming the entire encounter, at one point telling people around him not to make any sudden moves and addressing the officers about the music playing. Officers then cuff him with his hands behind his back, walk him past onlookers in the Beverly Hills business district, and place him in the back of a police vehicle.

Producer Hitmaka, formerly known as Yung Berg, was also present during the shoot for a track circulating in clips as “F*ck Cuh.” The group had been filming with DeenTheGreat when the police response occurred. Some early social media reports described possible traffic interference or heavier enforcement, but official details from police paint a more limited picture of the stop.

Beverly Hills police later confirmed the outcome in a statement to TMZ: “Broner was detained during a traffic stop as part of an investigation into a large street gathering in a residential area. He was released from the scene and a citation was not issued.” Law enforcement sources separately told the outlet that Broner was not arrested. He was cut loose at the scene after the brief detainment, with no charges reported from the incident.

The footage, originally captured on the Kick stream, exploded online within hours. No Jumper posted the clip with the caption “Adrien Broner dances while being handcuffed by police after he and his team were detained in Los Angeles,” while similar videos from Happy Punch and others racked up thousands of likes and reposts. TMZ also obtained and published video of Broner being led in cuffs and placed in the patrol vehicle. Reactions online ranged from jokes about Broner treating the stop like part of the music video to commentary on the presence of drawn guns during the encounter. Broner has a long public history of prior police interactions over the years, which contributed to the rapid framing of this as another run-in, even as the department’s statement made clear he faced no citation or arrest this time.

As of the latest reports, neither Broner nor DeenTheGreat has issued a widely circulated public statement specifically addressing the Beverly Hills stop. The incident remains a straightforward example of the streamer-boxer’s unfiltered style colliding with law enforcement during an on-camera production, with the official record showing a temporary detention that ended with his release on scene.
