Roblox YouTuber MeganPlays is receiving a flood of paid Super Thanks donations after revealing she can no longer afford therapy in the wake of her ex-husband’s affair with her former best friend Leah Ashe. In a nearly 30-minute response video posted this week, Megan stated she has lost her home, her insurance, and critical time with her young daughter, including missing the child’s first steps.
MeganPlays, whose real name is Megan Leeds, commands roughly 3.6 million subscribers with Roblox gameplay and lifestyle content. Leah Ashe holds about 5 million subscribers in the same space. The two were once among the closest pairs in the Roblox creator community, collaborating constantly, running a joint Girls Club channel, and presenting as sisters both on and offline. Megan married fellow creator Zach Letter, known as AviatorGaming, in 2019. The couple welcomed their daughter Clover in July 2024 and co-founded the Roblox development studio Wonderworks.
Their marriage collapsed in October 2025 after a TikTok video circulated showing Zach and Leah kissing at Disney World. Fans had already noticed the sudden mutual unfollows between Megan and Leah, along with Zach’s decision to unfollow his wife while remaining connected to Leah. Within days Megan confirmed the divorce in a tearful TikTok, describing herself as a single mother for the first time in years and struggling with the isolation of waking up and coming home alone.
Leah remained largely silent for nearly ten months while continuing her relationship with Zach. This week she returned with a short apology video. “In October of last year, I deeply betrayed Megan’s trust and hurt her,” Leah said. “I crossed a line that can never be uncrossed.” She called her own choices selfish, inconsiderate, disgusting, horrible and vile, expressed a desire to apologize to Megan directly, and confirmed she remains with Zach by choice rather than coercion. She detailed the concrete costs: shared custody that cut her time with Clover in half, the loss of the family home, the recent cancellation of her insurance, and the inability to continue therapy. “So, I can’t even go see my therapist anymore because it’s too expensive and I can’t afford it,” she said. Sessions that once cost her $15 with coverage now run approximately $200 for forty minutes. She described daily trauma responses, nights spent crying, and the lasting impact of being betrayed by the two people she loved most.
Viewers responded beneath the video with an outpouring of Super Thanks payments intended as financial help. Megan quickly clarified on X that she had never requested money. “I just want to make it clear, I didn’t ask for a single dollar or donation,” she wrote. “I happened to mention things I lost due to others actions while trying to show why I felt Leah’s apology was disingenuous.” She urged supporters not to harass Leah or Zach—particularly because her daughter still spends time with her father—and instead to stop engaging with Leah’s content entirely so the algorithm would not reward it.
Megan has also shared additional context across videos and posts, including claims that Leah’s interest in Zach dated back to 2023, allegations of earlier lies and manipulative behavior within their friendship, and screenshots plus a voice recording from the period immediately after the affair came to light. She has described Leah as prioritizing public image over genuine accountability and has asked that Leah simply disappear from her life and leave her daughter alone.
