Jeana M. DiCarlo, a 35-year-old social media influencer known online as a “trad wife,” “FireWife,” mother of five, and celebrity medical esthetician, was arrested on June 5, 2026, for shoplifting at a ShopRite supermarket in Monmouth County.
Police responded around 5:16 p.m. to the ShopRite located at 1500 Route 35 in Middletown after store employees reported a female suspect attempting to leave with unpaid merchandise. According to authorities, DiCarlo was stopped as she headed toward her vehicle. The merchandise from that incident was valued at $548.80.
Bodycam footage released by Transparency Bodycam shows DiCarlo in custody, appearing distressed as she interacted with officers. In the video, she reportedly told police she “forgot to pay.” She was transported to Middletown Township Police headquarters, where she was charged with third-degree shoplifting, processed, and released pending a court appearance.

DiCarlo faces a scheduled court appearance on August 3, 2026, in Middletown Municipal Court. She also has a prior shoplifting arrest from July 19, 2023, at a Target store in the same township. Both cases remain active.

Split-screen videos circulating on platforms like X, Instagram, and YouTube contrast glamorous photos of DiCarlo with the raw bodycam footage of her arrest, including scenes near her vehicle and at the police station. Officers were reportedly seen discovering cash in her wallet during processing, which has fueled online commentary about the case.
The story quickly went viral highlighted the irony between DiCarlo’s family-oriented “trad wife” branding and the repeated alleged thefts.
