Jadakiss did the right thing for some vulnerable new neighbors.
The Yonkers rapper and member of The LOX discovered a nest containing more than four newly hatched baby robins under the deck of his Westchester County, New York home. Rather than disturbing or removing the nest himself, Jadakiss contacted Wildlife Exotics, a professional wildlife removal and rescue service, to safely relocate the baby birds.
In a video shared to his social media accounts that has since gone viral, Jadakiss explained the situation: “I got a nest under my deck, and instead of obliterating it, Peter, we saved the birds. It had babies. I called in a professionalist. She came in, she’s gonna relocate the nest now.”
A wildlife expert responded to the call, arriving with proper equipment and carefully moving the nest to a more secure nearby location while the mother bird remained close by — a positive sign for the hatchlings’ continued care. Jadakiss emphasized choosing a humane, professional approach over handling the situation himself, noting concerns about potential predators such as hawks.
The story has drawn widespread positive reactions across Instagram, TikTok, X, and other platforms in mid-May 2026, with fans praising the veteran rapper for showing compassion during nesting season. While some lighthearted memes and commentary have circulated online, the core response has focused on appreciation for the simple act of wildlife protection.
Jadakiss, known for his storied career in hip-hop as a member of The LOX and for solo hits like “Why” and “We Gonna Make It,” frequently shares moments from his personal life with fans.
