Breaking: OTF Vonni Accused of Orchestrating King Von Murders

OTF Vonni’s Father Drops Bombshell: Allegations Surface That Vonni Orchestrated Lul Pab and King Von’s MurdersA stunning accusation has shaken the Chicago drill rap world, with the father of Kavon London Grant, known as OTF Vonni, claiming his son orchestrated the murders of Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson and Dayvon “King Von” Bennett. This explosive revelation, tied to a federal murder-for-hire case, has sparked intense debate about loyalty and betrayal within Lil Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) collective, particularly in light of the ongoing wrongful death lawsuit against Lil Durk involving Lul Pab’s family. Here’s a clear breakdown of the allegations, the events, and their impact on the music scene.

The claims emerge from a federal indictment unsealed in October 2024, charging Vonni and four other OTF associates—Deandre Dontrell Wilson (“DeDe”), Keith Jones (“Flacka”), David Brian Lindsey (“Browneyez”), and Asa Houston (“Boogie”)—with a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo in August 2022.

The attack, allegedly in retaliation for King Von’s 2020 killing, led to the death of Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab, at a Los Angeles gas station. Prosecutors say Vonni, a close associate of Lil Durk, coordinated the plot, buying ski masks and booking a hotel room with an OTF-linked credit card. The group reportedly stalked Rondo for hours, firing at least 18 rounds at his vehicle, though he escaped unharmed.

Adding a shocking twist, Vonni’s father has publicly alleged that his son was also behind the death of King Von, a rising star in Chicago’s drill music scene.

“My son set it all up, both Lul Pab and Von,”

His father stated in a recent interview, claiming Vonni’s role in the November 6, 2020, Atlanta shooting that killed Von outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge.

“He was playing both sides, and I can’t stay silent no more,”

He added, suggesting internal betrayal within OTF. That night, a dispute escalated into a deadly shootout, leaving Von, aged 26, dead.

Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks, tied to Quando Rondo, was charged but released after claiming self-defense, with no conviction to date. These unverified allegations from Vonni’s father have fueled speculation about deep rifts in the OTF camp. Such claims further underscore the contentious nature of the Chicago drill scene, where previous incidents, including a Chicago rapper claiming to have desecrated King Von’s grave, continue to incite controversy.

The federal case describes OTF as a “hybrid organization,” mixing music with alleged criminal activity. Authorities claim Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, placed a bounty on Quando Rondo’s life after Von’s death, with Vonni and others carrying out the plan. Their actions—flying from Chicago to California, using rental cars, and wearing ski masks—were carefully orchestrated, per court documents. On platforms like Reddit, fans and OTF affiliates have clashed, with some calling Vonni a “rat” for allegedly cooperating with authorities. His lawyer, however, insists he’s only reviewing discovery to prepare for trial.

Chicago’s drill scene, known for its gritty portrayal of street life, has long been intertwined with real-world violence. King Von, a member of the Black Disciples gang, gained fame with hits like “Crazy Story” and “Took Her to the O,” but his life was cut short amid ongoing feuds. Lul Pab’s death, meant as retribution, only deepened the cycle of violence.

“Kavon was in deep, more than people know,”

Vonni’s father claimed, hinting at his son’s central role in these events. If true, these allegations could unravel OTF’s inner dynamics, exposing a web of distrust.
