TikToker Under Investigation for Threatening Elon Musk and Tax Fraud

A TikTok user known as “saracroberts” has landed herself in hot water after making shocking comments about tech billionaire Elon Musk. But that’s not all—she also bragged about evading taxes for the past eight years. Now, federal authorities are stepping in.

It all started when “saracroberts” posted a video on TikTok, calling for the assassination of Elon Musk. Yes, you read that right. In her own words, she said:

“Elon Musk, we need to X him, and by ‘X him,’ I mean, formally known as assassination.”

Her statement left no room for misinterpretation. The internet was quick to react, with many users expressing shock and concern. After all, Musk isn’t just any billionaire—he’s a high-profile figure whose influence stretches from Tesla and SpaceX to X (formerly Twitter). Threats like these aren’t taken lightly.

But the controversy didn’t stop there. In the same video, “saracroberts” revealed that she hasn’t filed her taxes in eight years. The bold TikToker even taunted authorities, claiming:

“Arrest me. You don’t even have enough people to even investigate me at this point. I haven’t filed my taxes in like eight years, and yet, no one has come for me. So I’m going to say it—let’s assassinate some motherf—ers.”

Her confidence was startling. She went on to claim that because Elon Musk has been laying off employees, there wouldn’t be enough people left to take any action against her. Talk about tempting fate!

Elon Musk, known for his witty and sometimes cryptic posts on X (formerly Twitter), didn’t stay silent. Instead of addressing the threat head-on, Musk posted,

“Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.”

A philosophical take, sure. But some felt it was Musk’s way of brushing off yet another threat in his already eventful life. Musk also tagged the U.S. Attorney for D.C., Ed Martin, bringing the matter to federal attention.

Ed Martin, didn’t miss a beat. He responded to Musk’s post . Martin, took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation. His response was calm but firm:

“Duly noted. Thx for letting us know. We’ll put you in the system. Talk soon, Ma’am. #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw.”

Elon Musk is one of the most influential tech leaders in the world. Any threat against him is bound to catch attention, especially when it comes from someone making such bold claims publicly. Moreover, bragging about tax evasion while daring the government to arrest you? That’s a recipe for trouble.

While the internet buzzes with opinions and hot takes, the big question remains: what’s next for “saracroberts”? Will she face charges for threatening Musk? Will the IRS finally knock on her door after eight years?

One thing is clear—federal authorities are watching. And as U.S. Attorney Ed Martin hinted, nobody is above the law.

Stay tuned as this story develops.
