Straight to the point
Getting others to listen can be challenging, especially when leading a country. Silveria Jacobs, the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, had a clear message for her nation during the pandemic: “Stop moving. Simply stop moving.” She advised her people to make do with what they have and prepare for at least two weeks.
Earlier this week, Jacobs had a clear message for the people:
“Stop moving. Simply stop moving.”
“If you don’t have your preferred bread, have crackers. If you lack bread, opt for cereal, oats, sardines.”
“Prepare your disaster kit for at least two weeks, just as you would for a hurricane.”
