49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk Faces Arrest Warrant After 100 MPH Video Near Levi’s Stadium

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is facing a misdemeanor arrest warrant after posting a video of himself driving over 100 mph on public roads adjacent to Levi’s Stadium.

According to court documents and multiple reports, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office filed a complaint in February 2026 charging Aiyuk with “exhibition of speed,” a violation of California Vehicle Code. A Superior Court judge signed the warrant, with bail set at $5,000.

The incident stems from a December 20, 2025 YouTube video in which Aiyuk filmed himself behind the wheel of his Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, hitting speeds as high as 111 mph — including 104 mph near the 49ers’ home stadium. The route included sections of Tasman Drive with posted limits as low as 25-40 mph in a busy commercial and stadium area.

The video quickly drew public backlash, prompting complaints to Santa Clara police, who forwarded the case to prosecutors in January.

Days after the original post, Aiyuk issued an apology video, saying, “Sorry ya’ll, my car content won’t come with speeding anymore. Was praying with my son tonight and wouldn’t want anybody else to miss out on an opportunity to do the same with their loved ones!”

He subsequently took down or limited access to the original clip.

However, on June 3, 2026 — shortly after news of the warrant surfaced — Aiyuk appeared to double down. He shared new Instagram videos of himself driving at high speeds on a closed racetrack, accompanied by the caption, “Mad I took off got some ngaz in they feelings!” The post sparked widespread reaction online.

The charge is a misdemeanor, meaning potential penalties upon conviction could include fines, license points and, in some cases, short-term jail time, though first offenses rarely result in incarceration. No crashes or injuries were connected to the December drive.

The legal issue arrives at a turbulent time for Aiyuk and the 49ers. Limited by a serious knee injury, the 2024 first-round pick has spent most of the 2025-2026 season on the reserve/left squad list. The team recently voided his $27 million in guaranteed money for the 2026 season, signaling significant friction.

Originally signed to a four-year, $120 million extension in 2024, Aiyuk’s future with the organization remains uncertain, with San Francisco reportedly open to trading him.

As of Thursday, the warrant remains active. Aiyuk has not yet publicly addressed the latest developments beyond his social media activity. No court date has been announced.
