25-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Young Boy and Sharing on Snapchat

The 25-year-old lady from New Jersey is charged with felonies after she allegedly sexually abused a kid under her supervision and made a video recording that she shared on Snapchat.

Victoria Anne Cranmer from Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, was arrested on July 8, 2026, and is still in custody at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River based on the court and jail records.

It was revealed after one of her former roommates, whose name is only mentioned as Ms. P in the court document, requested Victoria to return her iPhone which Victoria gave her as a gift for her birthday. While examining the phone, she found out there was a 14-second video on Snapchat Memories.

“She saved the video and turned the cellphone over to authorities,”

reports detail. Investigators from the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office obtained search warrants on May 28 for the phone and Cranmer’s Snapchat account, uncovering additional videos.

Cranmer was identified through her voice, the bathroom setting in the home where she had been staying, and distinctive leg tattoos visible in the footage including one depicting “boobs,” along with a lightning bolt and a mushroom plus another on her hip, per the affidavit.

The alleged incident occurred around May 6, 2026, in a bathroom at a Little Egg Harbor residence. Court documents indicate the victim was a 2-year-old boy, described as young enough to wear diapers, who was under Cranmer’s informal supervision while she stayed with the child’s family.

Prosecutors allege in the complaint that Cranmer exposed herself and allowed the child to touch her while recording. One video reportedly captured her laughing and making a comment to the child. The child’s mother had noticed behavioral changes prompting further inquiry.

All information is sourced directly from court documents, police affidavits, and statements made by authorities. Cranmer has not yet been found guilty; she is assumed to be innocent at this time and the matter remains under investigation. A detention hearing was set to take place on July 14.

The present case demonstrates some of the difficulties associated with identifying child sexual abuse material on social media services such as Snapchat because it offers messages that disappear and also has a feature called Memories. The NCMEC says that electronic service providers make mandatory reports of apparent CSAM and provide digital evidence that is often used during prosecution cases.

The case has drawn national attention due to the young age of the alleged victim, the digital evidence trail, and the suspect’s role as someone trusted around children. Readers should follow official proceedings from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, as more details may emerge in court.
