On Tuesday, August 11, the rapper wrote,
“Tell that bitch to tell yall she won’t let me see my baby”
followed by a wink emoji and the hashtag #NDA. The next morning he followed up:
“So it’s I don’t wanna see my kid…then when I say I’m kept from seeing my kid it’s y u telling us leave me tf alone and yes I’ve been going to court #NDA.”
The posts arrived hours after Coi Leray shared a new song snippet that appeared aimed at her ex, as XXL first reported. In the clip she sings,
“Looking back at my ex, like, damn, how the fuck you do that?”
Trippie Redd, born Michael Lamar White II on June 18, 1999, in Canton, Ohio, rose through emo-rap and rage sounds with early mixtapes and the 2018 album Life’s a Trip. He is preparing to release his album NDA on August 14. Coi Leray, born Coi Leray Collins on May 11, 1997, in Boston and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey, is the daughter of rapper and media figure Benzino. The pair first dated in 2019, rekindled in 2024, and announced her pregnancy on January 1, 2025.
They split during the pregnancy after Coi alleged infidelity. She posted at the time that nothing was worse than being cheated on — an accusation that surfaced after Trippie posted a photo of a new girlfriend during her pregnancy. Trippie later claimed he and his family were barred from her Hello Kitty-themed baby shower even though he said he paid for it.
