Dude, there’s this brand-new indie game that’s absolutely exploding online right now and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s called Become, and yeah… you play as a sperm cell. A sentient, determined little tadpole racing through the human body to be the one that actually makes it to the egg. I know how that sounds, but stick with me.
It’s a solo project from this Czech guy named Valentin Wirth (he did some cinematics on Mafia 3 and Crime Boss before). Announced back in February 2026, it’s coming to Steam sometime this year. Short little 2-3 hour adventure/platformer where you’re just one of millions of sperm trying to survive the craziest obstacle course imaginable.

No porn, no gross-out stuff just mature, cheeky humor wrapped around real biology. You dash through pulsing tunnels, slam into rival sperm, dodge immune cells that look like they want to murder you, and chug sugars and proteins for upgrades. It’s basically a platformer where the final boss is an egg.
The trailer though? Unreal Engine 5 magic. Everything looks hyper-realistic at microscopic scale thick, gloopy fluids, glowing particles, these insane acid bursts flashing red-orange everywhere. You’re weaving through dark tunnels while an epic orchestra swells and the screen flashes stuff like “LIVE OR DIE” and “WALK THAT OFF BIG FELLA.” The 32-second clip that’s everywhere already has people losing it. The full 1:09 version on YouTube is pushing a million views and climbing fast.
Twitter is an absolute warzone of jokes. Everyone’s posting the clip going “indie devs have officially run out of normal ideas” and then immediately following it with
“I already won this race once in 1997, thanks.”
Puns are flying. Memes are flying. One guy just wrote “the weirdest game concept of the year” and the replies are pure gold.
And before anyone screams hoax nah, it’s real. There were some silly sperm-racing browser games back in the day, but this one feels polished as hell. The humor works because it actually respects the science: 100-250 million sperm start the race, and most get wrecked by acid, antibodies, or just bad navigation. Become turns that brutal reality into a fun, upgrade-heavy little journey.
