Dallas-based R&B singer Antonio “Tonio” Hall, known for his 2022 track “OMW,” was fatally shot in Norton Shores, Michigan, on the evening of September 15, 2026. Police later identified the 27-year-old Texas resident by his full name, Antonio Ken-Tarrius Hall, and confirmed the arrest of a 26-year-old Muskegon man in connection with the case.
Norton Shores officers responded shortly before 6 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 3200 block of Ingersoll Avenue near Alberta Avenue. They found Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders, including fire and EMS personnel, attempted life-saving measures for roughly half an hour, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A weapon was recovered. Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Hall grew up in the Muskegon area, where he began with church music on drums and piano and later posted covers online. He relocated to Dallas to pursue a career and signed with SEVEN14 Entertainment. His catalog includes the EP Over My Feelings and singles such as “OMW,” which found an audience through streaming and social platforms. Friends from the Michigan group RND Officially, who had known him since childhood, said they last spent time with him in a studio the night before the shooting.
“That was our first time in years that we saw each other in person, let alone get in the studio and work the way we did,”

Hall had returned to Michigan for his grandmother’s funeral. Family and friends are now planning his memorial amid the dual loss. Local reporting notes a GoFundMe effort to help with related expenses.
A 26-year-old Muskegon man was arrested the same night. Authorities have not released his name while the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office reviews the case to decide on any charges. An arrest is not a determination of guilt. Police have not publicly established a motive. Some accounts from associates have referenced a dispute, but that remains unconfirmed by investigators.
