Moneybagg Yo Confronts Streamer Cuffem Over Ari Fletcher Comments

Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher confronted Kick streamer Cuffem during the Weedmaps Halloween Party on the night of Oct. 21, resulting in Cuffem and members of his group being removed from the event. A roughly 90-second video of the exchange, which circulated widely the following day, has drawn more than two million views on X.

The footage shows the group in an outdoor area near metal roll-up doors, illuminated by purple and green lighting. Cuffem, dressed in a gray hoodie, black beanie, and glasses, initially crossed paths with Moneybagg Yo in what appeared to be a routine interaction at the sponsored gathering. The tone shifted once Fletcher recognized the streamer and addressed him directly in front of the surrounding crowd. She referenced previous online comments he had made about her and then turned to Moneybagg Yo, instructing him to “press him.” She also told Cuffem, “Don’t cop no plea, you be talking…,” a phrase that has since become the most quoted line from the clip. In the footage, Cuffem becomes noticeably quieter, lowers his gaze, and at one point appears to respond, “About who?” No physical altercation took place.

Reports of the comments that prompted the confrontation remain limited and unverified in full. Some accounts describe Cuffem previously suggesting that Fletcher’s visibility as a livestreamer was tied primarily to her appearance. Others link the remarks to unconfirmed claims involving fellow streamer Tylil, with additional references in some versions to Fletcher’s son Yosohn. An older stream clip featuring Cuffem discussing Moneybagg Yo, Fletcher, and Tylil has also resurfaced in the days since the party. Fletcher has previously addressed online commentary about her personal life in person, including a public exchange with Akademiks earlier this year.

Moneybagg Yo, whose 2021 album A Gangsta’s Pain debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, remained close throughout the exchange. He and Fletcher have been publicly linked since 2019. In September, reports indicated the couple held a private traditional Muslim wedding ceremony, with a larger celebration expected in 2027. The pair has addressed breakup speculation on multiple occasions over the years.

Cuffem, a Birmingham, Alabama native who built an audience through reaction content, gambling streams, and IRL broadcasts after earlier work in gaming, has been associated with circles that include Adin Ross and other prominent Kick personalities. Following the party, he confirmed that he and his group were removed and apologized to the organizers. In subsequent posts he described his behavior during the exchange as being “dead in character” and stated that he prefers not to escalate certain situations in person. He also indicated he would be more cautious about attending similar events with his group going forward.

The episode has drawn attention for the contrast it presented between Cuffem’s typically outspoken online presence and his demeanor once Moneybagg Yo was standing nearby. Much of the commentary online has centered on that shift, with observers noting the growing overlap between high-profile streaming personalities and traditional hip-hop events. Removal from a brand-sponsored gathering can carry practical implications for future invitations, even in the absence of any physical incident. Whether Cuffem addresses the specific comments on his own streams in the coming days will likely determine how long the story remains in circulation.
