Photos circulating since Saturday show 14-year-old Angelo Banks arriving at the event in a sleek white Rolls-Royce, dressed in a sharp black tuxedo complete with diamond chain, watch, and rings. In one shot, he’s posing between two luxury vehicles in the driveway of a suburban brick home. In another, he’s seated in the driver’s seat with the door open, red leather interior on full display, looking every bit the next-generation star.
The images, first amplified by accounts like Daily Loud and No Jumper, quickly lit up X, racking up thousands of likes and comments. Fans called the entrance “aura for days” and joked that the homecoming court never stood a chance. Others couldn’t resist the classic comparison: “I pulled up in my dad’s Toyota and I’m fine.”
Angelo, born in November 2011 to Lil Durk and Nicole “Nikki” Covone, is the rapper’s oldest child. He graduated eighth grade earlier this year and is now navigating freshman year of high school. Family members, including India Royale, have shown up for previous milestones, including his junior high graduation in May.
The timing adds another layer. Lil Durk was acquitted on Sept. 11 of all charges in his high-profile murder-for-hire case stemming from a 2022 Los Angeles shooting. Despite the not-guilty verdict, the OTF founder remains in federal custody while he awaits a separate racketeering trial set to begin in early October. That means the Chicago legend couldn’t be there in person for his son’s big night.
Still, the photos capture a moment that feels pure celebrity kid energy — flashy, polished, and impossible to ignore. Whether it’s a one-time flex or the start of Angelo’s own public chapter, one thing is clear: homecoming just got a whole lot more interesting.
