LeAnn Rimes Gets ‘Deep Jaw Release’ From Garry Lineham – See Details

LeAnn Rimes experienced a dramatic emotional release during a “deep jaw release” treatment captured in a video shared by wellness brand Human Garage on Sunday (March 29).

In the approximately 40-second Instagram Reel, the 43-year-old Grammy-winning country singer lies on her back on a cushion as co-founder Garry Lineham performs the technique. A second practitioner holds Rimes’ head steady while Lineham inserts his hand inside her mouth, applying sustained pressure to the internal jaw muscles and fascia.

Rimes is heard moaning intensely and repeatedly saying “Oh my God” throughout the roughly 60-second procedure. Lineham encourages her with phrases like “You got it, hold on.” At the moment the tension reportedly releases, she bursts into uncontrollable sobs. She then touches her jaw, appearing stunned, before laughing through the tears.

“Say ‘That part of my life is over,’” Lineham instructs her in the clip. Rimes replies, still emotional, “That part of my life better be over.” She adds, “Oh my God, you just don’t realize how much tension is in there… until it’s gone,” with Lineham echoing the sentiment. Afterward, she appears visibly lighter and more relaxed, according to the brand’s description.

Human Garage captioned the post: “Healing isn’t always quiet. Sometimes it’s a physical letting go of things we didn’t even know we were carrying.” The wellness company, which promotes its Fascial Maneuvers system, described the jaw as a primary storage site for unvoiced stress and tension. The technique aims to signal safety to the nervous system, allowing locked fascia in the face and neck to release, often triggering both physical relief and emotional catharsis.

Rimes has long been open about her health journey, including past issues with TMJ, dental challenges that once affected her onstage, and various wellness practices. This session aligns with her public discussions around healing and self-care.

The clip quickly gained traction, with tens of thousands of likes, comments and shares, and was picked up by multiple entertainment outlets. Human Garage encouraged followers to comment “JAW” for a link to learn more about the technique.

While similar intraoral myofascial release methods are used in physical therapy for TMJ relief and tension, Human Garage’s approach emphasizes emotional and nervous system elements as part of a broader self-healing philosophy. As with many alternative wellness practices, individual results vary, and medical professionals generally advise consulting qualified practitioners before attempting such treatments.

Rimes, whose career spans more than three decades with hits like “How Do I Live” and multiple Grammy wins, continues to balance music, acting and personal wellness pursuits.
