A Minnesota IT hardware reseller listed a decommissioned 300-rack AI computing cluster on eBay for $59.7 million or best offer, complete with more than 9,600 Nvidia A100 GPUs and the option of $50 overnight shipping.
Core 4 Solutions, based in Eden Prairie, posted the used equipment as a single lot of fully functional ZT A100 compute racks taken from a hyperscaler cloud environment. The listing, which appeared around October 27, 2026, described two such 300-rack clusters as available and carried a 30-day warranty. The seller does not accept returns and requires buyers to comply with U.S. export regulations.
Each rack holds four compute nodes and three management nodes. Every compute node is configured with eight Nvidia A100 40GB SXM4 GPUs, two AMD EPYC Rome 64-core processors, 1TB of DDR4 memory, eight ConnectX-6 200Gb/s network cards, an FPGA, NVMe storage slots and six power supplies. The management nodes each include two EPYC Rome processors and 192GB of DDR4. Across 300 racks the totals reach 9,600 A100 accelerators, 4,200 AMD processors, 268,800 CPU cores and roughly 1.4 petabytes of system memory.
Shipping options stood out for their scale. Free local pickup was available from the company’s Minnesota warehouse. Free FedEx Ground delivery was also listed, along with two-day shipping for $25 and overnight service for $50. The hardware is stored at Core 4 Solutions’ facility at 6450 Carlson Drive in Eden Prairie.
Core 4 Solutions is a long-running reseller of new, open-box and refurbished enterprise IT gear. Co-founders Cory Larsen, the current CEO, and Mike Mattson launched the business after earlier work in the refurbished hardware sector. The company maintains a strong eBay presence with 99.9 percent positive feedback and routinely sells individual A100 racks for about $199,000.
The A100 GPUs date to 2020 and are older than current Nvidia Blackwell systems, yet they remain capable of AI inference, machine learning and high-performance computing tasks. Component-level estimates place the GPUs, processors and memory alone near $28 million before racks, networking, power supplies and other infrastructure are counted. The full asking price works out to roughly $199,000 per rack.
The eBay listing was ended by the seller on October 28, 2026, with the note that the item was no longer available. Whether the cluster sold, was withdrawn or moved to a private transaction is not publicly detailed. Core 4 Solutions continues to offer individual A100 racks and related data-center hardware through its own site and eBay store.
Anyone considering such equipment faces significant additional costs for power, cooling, space, networking and staff. The listing itself offered no details on power draw or facility requirements, leaving those logistics to the buyer.
