Couples looking to elevate their Valentine’s Day plans this year may find love — and a diamond — at Dave & Buster’s.
The arcade and restaurant chain announced it is giving guests the opportunity to win one of five 3-carat diamond engagement rings by participating in its viral “Human Crane” game at select locations on Feb. 14.
The promotion transforms the brand’s popular attraction — a life-sized twist on the classic claw machine — into what the company describes as a “one-of-a-kind engagement moment.”
Unlike traditional claw machines, the Human Crane lowers players themselves into a pit of oversized prizes. Strapped into a harness and helmet, participants are suspended face-down and given a limited amount of time to grab items before being lifted back up.
“The Human Crane is the brand’s full-body arcade experience that turns guests into the action by lowering them into a pit of oversized prizes where they can grab an iconic prize,” the company said. Rides start at $20 per person.
For Valentine’s Day, Dave & Buster’s is placing five engagement ring prizes — each valued at $15,000 and featuring a 3-carat diamond designed by Platinum Days — into the game at select stores for couples “ready to take their relationship to the next level,” according to a press release.
The company emphasized that the physical rings will not actually be sitting inside the prize pit.
Instead, winners will receive instructions via a QR code to submit their contact information. Verified winners will be contacted by Feb. 17 with fulfillment details, and the rings will be shipped at a later date.
The rings cannot be exchanged for cash or other consideration. Dave & Buster’s also noted that ring size, quality and value may vary by location and that there is no minimum guaranteed value.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to play and redeem the prize.
The promotion is limited to five stores:

The offer is valid only on Valentine’s Day and applies exclusively to those locations.

For $20, participants can take their shot at securing a $15,000 ring — though as with any game of chance, there are no guarantees.
