Netflix India Features Former WWE Champion The Great Khali in Striking New Photoshoot

Netflix India has shared a new photoshoot featuring former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali, dressed in a pink polka-dot onesie with matching hair bows while posing in a brightly decorated pink bedroom set.

In the images, the 7-foot-1 wrestler is shown lounging on a pink bedspread, flipping through a scrapbook, eating noodles from a bowl, and making finger-heart gestures. The room includes string lights, bookshelves, and posters for Netflix titles such as “When Life Gives You Tangerines” and “Boyfriend.” Netflix India’s Instagram account posted the photos with the caption “K-paglu with a capital K 🎀🫰🏻,” a playful reference to his enthusiasm for Korean dramas.

The photos, released around October 19, 2026, quickly spread across social media platforms including X, where accounts such as @PicturesFoIder shared them to hundreds of thousands of views. Many observers noted the contrast between Khali’s long-standing image as the imposing “Punjabi Nightmare” and the soft, domestic setting of the shoot.

Dalip Singh Rana was born on August 27, 1972, in the village of Dhiraina in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district. He stands 7 feet 1 inch tall and has been billed at around 347 pounds. After early work as a Punjab Police officer and success as a bodybuilder, he began professional wrestling in 2000 under the name Giant Singh. He signed with WWE in 2006, debuted on SmackDown that April, and became the first Indian-born World Heavyweight Champion in 2007 after winning a battle royal. He remained a prominent figure in the company through 2014, with occasional returns afterward, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

Rana, who holds dual Indian and American citizenship, is married to Harminder Kaur and has two children. He founded the Continental Wrestling Entertainment promotion in Punjab and has appeared in films including “The Longest Yard,” “Get Smart,” and “MacGruber,” as well as the Indian reality series Bigg Boss. In recent years he has remained active on social media and in promotional work.

Netflix India has previously collaborated with Khali on campaigns promoting WrestleMania content on the platform. The latest photoshoot continues that association while highlighting the streamer’s Korean drama offerings. The images have drawn widespread online commentary focused on the unexpected visual contrast with his wrestling career.
