India Royale Vows to Stay Home Once Lil Durk Returns Following Legal Battle

India Royale is already making plans for when Lil Durk finally walks free.

In a recent live stream that has circulated widely across social media, the influencer and longtime partner of the Chicago rapper made her intentions clear. Responding to a friend who joked that no one would hear from her once Durk is released, Royale replied with a mix of humor and sincerity:

“Come on baby, we ain’t finna hear from you. I’m for real, cause if I didn’t come home, I’ma be on house arrest. That’s why I need to go, I need to calm for real quick.”

The clip, which quickly spread through hip-hop pages, captured Royale laughing as she explained that she’s taking the opportunity to get out now — because once Durk is home, she plans to stay put.

The comments arrive just weeks after a major legal victory for Durk. On Sept. 11, a federal jury in Los Angeles found the 33-year-old not guilty on all five counts in his murder-for-hire trial. Prosecutors had alleged that Durk orchestrated a 2022 plot targeting rival Quando Rondo as payback for the 2020 killing of his close friend King Von. The shooting at a Los Angeles gas station instead left Quando’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, dead.

Despite the acquittal, Durk remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles. He still faces a separate federal racketeering and firearms case that was severed from the first trial. That proceeding, originally set for early October, has been pushed to Aug. 30, 2027. A bond review hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4, giving his legal team another chance to argue for his release while he awaits the next trial.

Durk has been locked up since his October 2024 arrest near Miami International Airport, where authorities claimed he was attempting to leave the country after several associates were detained in Chicago.

Royale and Durk have been together, on and off, since 2017. They share a daughter, Willow, and Durk has long treated Royale’s older daughter, Skylar, as his own. The pair got engaged onstage in Chicago in 2021, weathered a public split the following year, and quietly married in 2024 before Durk’s arrest. Throughout the legal saga, Royale has remained a steady presence, attending court dates and celebrating the September verdict with a simple Instagram Story that read “Thank you GOD.”

For now, Durk’s future still hangs on the upcoming bond hearing and the racketeering case that follows. But if India Royale has her way, once he does come home, the outside world may have to wait.
