Panamanian influencer and model Gracie Bon has repeatedly advertised a personal assistant position paying $10,000 a month to help with daily tasks that include personal hygiene, citing her lipedema diagnosis as the reason she cannot easily reach certain areas of her body.
Bon, born February 4, 1997, in Panama City, first drew widespread attention to the role in videos posted in 2025. She described the job as requiring someone available potentially seven days a week who would also cook, clean, drive, and travel with her. In one clip she called the position a “buttler” and said the most important duty was assisting with places she cannot reach on her own.
“Many think it’s a joke, but I’m serious,” Bon said in a July 2025 video. She added that a previous candidate on a trial basis “didn’t pass the test” because of difficulty reaching those areas. The package she offered at the time included paid vacations and health insurance.
She returned to the subject in early April 2026 during episode 128 of the podcast “El Podcast de la Vida,” hosted by content creator Miguelín. A clip shared on Instagram collected more than 100,000 views within hours. “I am looking for someone to help me reach areas that I cannot access,” Bon said. “They must have the availability, meaning they should be willing to work even seven days a week; I don’t know if that’s legal. I will pay 10 thousand dollars a month, I will take them traveling with me and everything, but I need their day to literally start and end with me.”
Bon has publicly attributed the need for assistance to lipedema, a chronic condition that causes abnormal and often painful fat accumulation, typically in the legs, hips, and buttocks. The fat does not respond well to diet or exercise, and patients often experience easy bruising, swelling, heaviness, and reduced mobility. In videos explaining the condition, she has shown unfiltered images of her legs and noted spider veins and bruising that result from the tissue pressure on circulation. She has said the condition has been present throughout her life and is distinct from surgical procedures she has undergone elsewhere on her body.
Known professionally as Gracie Bon, the model and content creator built an audience of more than 11 million Instagram followers through fashion, swimwear, and body-positive posts. She previously worked as an engineer after studying industrial and systems engineering and has also created adult content and released music. She has advocated for larger airline seats to accommodate plus-size travelers and has referenced her lower-body measurements, including hips near 55 inches or about 140 centimeters, in public comments.
The job postings generated a range of responses online, from applications and jokes to criticism of the salary level or the intimate nature of the hygiene assistance. Bon has continued posting about the search into 2026, including a video in April titled along the lines of still looking for a butler, while emphasizing the physical demands of her routine.
As of the latest public statements, no permanent hire has been announced, and the offer remains framed as open for a candidate able to meet the full-time requirements tied to her medical condition.
