Rapper Rich The Kid handed a young water bottle seller $100 in cash after learning it was the boy’s birthday, according to a video that spread across social media on October 5, 2026.
In the clip, Dimitri Leslie Roger, known professionally as Rich The Kid, extends the bill from the window of a vehicle to the youth standing nearby. The boy holds several plastic water bottles and accepts the money with a wide smile and open-mouthed laughter.
He moves energetically beside the car, his expression showing clear surprise and happiness during the short exchange. A Target shopping cart and commercial building appear in the background of the outdoor setting.
Accounts including Daily Loud, My Mixtapez, No Jumper and HOT 97 shared the video that day. Daily Loud’s post drew more than 2,000 likes and over 100,000 views within hours.
Captions across the posts describe the gesture as making the water boy’s birthday special. Replies to the posts note that the amount, while modest to some, likely carried significant meaning for the recipient.
Roger, born July 13, 1992, in Queens, New York, to Haitian parents, moved with his mother to College Park, Georgia, at age 13. He built his career in the Atlanta trap scene, releasing mixtapes before signing major label deals and scoring hits in the late 2010s.
The water seller has not been publicly identified by name. No further details on the exact street location or time of the encounter beyond the October 5 circulation of the video have been confirmed in available reports.
Rich The Kid has not issued a public statement on the moment through his verified social media accounts as of early October 6.
