According to reports in hip-hop media and social media, 25-year-old DMV rapper Nino Paid (real name Jacquan Andrews) was arrested in the Detroit area in early September 2026 while on tour. He is said to be held in custody for his alleged involvement in a shooting and armed robbery that took place in April 2026 and is to be extradited to Atlanta.
However, it should be noted that the information is still unconfirmed. As of September 8, 2026, no official statement has been released by Atlanta police, Fulton County prosecutors, Detroit police, or local newspapers like the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Hip-hop accounts including RaphouseTV and secondary outlets like India Times state that investigators link Andrews to the alleged killing of Keion Borders in Atlanta. According to these reports, police do not believe he was the shooter but allege he was involved. Identification reportedly came through Ring doorbell footage. The charges cited in the circulating accounts include murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. He is described as the only person arrested so far in the matter.

Andrews was born on August 14, 2001. He hails from the area of Landover in Maryland, known in the DMV area.
