Drake delivered one of the more memorable moments of his recent livestreaming era on Saturday night (Aug. 8), when he barked on command for a goth Twitch streamer and then agreed to buy her mother a house during a high-profile Kick broadcast.
The roughly three-hour stream, staged to mark the ninth anniversary of crypto gambling platform Stake, featured more than $1 million in giveaways and a freewheeling 20-versus-1 dating segment hosted by Nelk co-founder Kyle Forgeard. Contestants rotated through conversations with the rapper, who was ultimately tasked with selecting one woman to “wife,” one to hook up with and one to name his best friend.
Among the finalists were influencer Jordyn Lucas, adult film performer Lena the Plug and Pinkchyu (real name Lin Lamar), a U.S.-based cosplayer and Twitch streamer known for her goth aesthetic. Pinkchyu appeared in pale makeup, a tight black dress and a spiked choker.
Their exchange quickly turned playful. After Pinkchyu asked whether Drake was open to “silly” role play, he replied, “You can look me dead in my eyes and if you say do anything, I would.” She took him up on the offer. “Would you bark for me?” she asked. Drake obliged without hesitation, delivering a series of enthusiastic “Arf, arf, arf” barks that quickly spread across social media.
At the end of the segment, Drake chose Pinkchyu as his “wife” for the night. He told her he would buy her anything she wanted. Instead of requesting something for herself, she asked for a house for her mother so the older woman could retire. “Oh yeah, I’d love to,” Drake responded.
Pinkchyu appeared emotional on camera. Online observers estimated the potential value of the house at around $400,000, though neither Drake’s representatives nor Pinkchyu have confirmed that a purchase has been completed or provided a timeline.
The other finalists also left with significant prizes. Lucas, placed in the best-friend category, received $25,000 and a Hermès Birkin bag. Lena the Plug was awarded $25,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip.
The viral bark-and-house exchange carried extra resonance given comments Drake made last year. During a September 2025 appearance on Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, he described his ideal partner as a “goth baddie” who is funny and heavily tattooed. Pinkchyu’s look aligned closely with that description.
Pinkchyu later identified herself on X as the “goth baddie” from the stream and expressed gratitude for the gesture. As of Monday, the house offer remains unconfirmed beyond Drake’s on-air statement.
