Gruesome Discovery in Bali: Severed Head & Limbs Linked to Kidnapped Ukrainian Businessman’s Son

Locals in Bali got the shock of their lives late last week when bits of a decomposed body started washing up near the mouth of the Wos River and Ketewel beach. A severed head, a right leg, chunks of the upper torso, both thighs, and some internal organs all stuffed into black plastic bags were bobbing around right at the estuary.

Police are pretty sure it’s the remains of a missing Ukrainian tourist who got snatched in broad daylight in a ballsy attack. The guy was 28-year-old Igor Komarov, son of Oleksandr “Narik” Petrovsky, a wealthy businessman from Dnipro that a lot of reports tie to organized crime circles. Igor had been living it up on a luxury trip with his girlfriend, Instagram influencer Yeva Mishalova. Turns out their constant social media updates might’ve been the thing that put a target on his back.

On February 15 he was scooting through the busy Jimbaran area when a bunch of vehicles boxed him in out of nowhere. Several men jumped out and dragged him off in what witnesses described as a perfectly timed operation. One local told cops it felt like a scene straight out of a thriller movie. Igor’s phone and personal stuff later turned up in a rented villa over in Tabanan regency along with bloodstains and clear signs that the kidnappers had filmed a ransom video right there.

A few days after that, a brutal video hit social media and went everywhere. Igor’s face was swollen, both eyes black, arm bandaged up, and he was staring into the camera begging his parents for help.

“Mommy, Daddy… please return those $10 million,”

He said, according to everyone who’s seen the footage. He told them his captors had already hacked off parts of his limbs, smashed his legs and ribs, and that infection would finish him off if he didn’t get medical care. The demand was $10 million they claimed the money had been stolen through his father’s shady connections.

Then on February 26-27 the body parts surfaced about 30 kilometers from the suspected hideout. Forensics picked up on the Caucasian features and a very specific tattoo that matched Igor’s. They’re running DNA from his mother right now for final confirmation.

Bali police followed the trail through CCTV and GPS data on the abduction vehicles and it led them straight to that Tabanan villa. They arrested one foreign guy, only identified as CH, who was using a fake passport to rent cars and trying to slip out of the country. Six other suspects all Ukrainian, initials RM, BK, AS, VN, SM and DH are still on the run. A few are believed to have already left Indonesia.

The whole nightmare first exploded online thanks to a viral X post from @DailyLoud on March 4. They ran side-by-side photos: Igor smiling on vacation next to rescue teams pulling those black bags out of the water. The contrast was absolutely gut-wrenching.
