Stefon Diggs Faces Paternity Lawsuit From Model Aileen Lopera

Stefon Diggs is juggling significant changes both on and off the field.

The New England Patriots wide receiver, 31, is facing a paternity lawsuit from Instagram model Aileen Lopera, who claims he fathered her daughter, born this past April — all while he and girlfriend Cardi B just shared the exciting news that they’re expecting a baby together.

Lopera, 33 — who goes by Lord Gisselle on Instagram, where she has more than 306,000 followers — filed the case in Los Angeles Superior Court in December 2024, months before her daughter’s birth. In the filing, she named Diggs as the unborn child’s father. She requested full legal and physical custody, visitation rights for the athlete, and coverage of pregnancy and birth-related costs.

Her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, was born on April 2, 2025. Lopera even gave the baby Diggs’ last name.

This summer, Diggs responded in court, stating he was “not certain” about paternity and asking for DNA testing. If confirmed as the father, he said he would seek joint custody and a fair split of expenses.

Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told People: “My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.”

Lopera has built a sizable social media influencer and Fashion Nova ambassador following. She also runs her own clothing brand, The Skin Line. Beyond her new daughter, Charliee, Lopera is mom to Emoniee, 13, from a previous relationship.

Over the years, she’s also been linked to high-profile names, including sharing a dinner video with Rob Kardashian in 2020.

The unfolding legal drama comes when Diggs’ romance with Cardi B has taken center stage.

  • December 2024: Lopera files the lawsuit while still pregnant.
  • February 2025: Diggs and Cardi B are spotted spending Valentine’s Day together in Miami.
  • April 2025: Lopera welcomes baby Charliee.
  • May 2025: Diggs and Cardi step out publicly at an NBA playoff game and later hit a Met Gala after-party.
  • July 2025: Diggs requests genetic testing in court.
  • September 2025: Cardi announces she’s pregnant with Diggs’ child.

Just one day after reports of the lawsuit broke, Cardi, 32, revealed on CBS Mornings that she is expecting her fourth child — her first with Diggs.

“I feel safe and confident with him,” the Grammy-winning rapper shared during the appearance.

The baby is due in early 2026, ahead of Cardi’s highly anticipated “Little Miss Drama” tour, set to kick off in February.

Cardi is already the mother of three children with ex-husband Offset. Diggs is the father of Nova, 8, from a previous relationship with Los Angeles-based singer Tyler-Marie. If the DNA test confirms Charliee’s paternity, Diggs will become a father of three.

With a new baby on the way and a lawsuit pending, Diggs’ personal life is under the spotlight like never before. A judge approved genetic testing, but the results were not publicized.

For now, Diggs is balancing the demands of his Patriots season with the complexities of an expanding family — and the world is watching closely.
