YouTube star KingCobraJFS eerily predicted his own death at age 34 in a haunting video that’s now gripping the internet. Joshua Fay Saunders, known as KingCobraJFS, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming, leaving fans stunned as his chilling words from a resurfaced clip ring true. In the video, he casually mused about dying from a heart attack at 34, a prediction that aligns with his tragic passing at that exact age.
In the short clip, titled “KingCobraJFS predicts his age and manner of death accurately,” Saunders says,
“Maybe when I’m 34 I’ll have a heart attack and die. That would be nice.”
He explains that he chose 34 because his 20s were behind him, and he had no desire to reach 40. With a mix of sarcasm and resignation, he adds,
“I’ll be 34 in seven years. Oh joy.”
The video, uploaded after his death, has sparked widespread discussion online due to its uncanny accuracy, though the exact cause of his death remains unconfirmed.
Saunders, a gothic YouTuber with over 123,000 subscribers, was known for his raw, unfiltered content. His channel, active since 2011, featured music covers, bizarre “food hacks,” wand-making, and candid livestreams where he shared his struggles with Asperger’s syndrome, alcoholism, and lifelong bullying. His eccentric persona earned him a cult following, but it also attracted trolls who mocked his vulnerabilities and, in some cases, sent him alcohol, worsening his addiction.
On August 21, 2025, Saunders was found unresponsive in his apartment during a wellness check by his father, Clint Saunders. Clint, in a now-deleted video on Josh’s YouTube channel, described finding his son “blue at the lips” and attempting to revive him. He expressed grief over Josh’s lifelong struggles, noting,
“Josh was harassed and bullied terribly his whole life.”
The Natrona County Coroner’s Office is investigating, with an autopsy pending to determine the cause of death. While Saunders predicted a heart attack, speculation points to organ failure, possibly linked to his heavy drinking, as a likely cause of the KingCobraJFS’s death.
Just two days before his death, Saunders posted a distressing video on Facebook, describing severe symptoms:
“It hurts to breathe… my stomach hurts… I’ve been puking and pooping.”
Fans and family suspect his alcoholism, compounded by recent personal losses like the death of his idol Ozzy Osbourne, took a heavy toll. Despite rumors, his family has ruled out suicide in the KingCobraJFS death prediction case.
