Hailing from Atlanta, as a rapper, he exhibits a multi-talented arsenal on his way to becoming the next superstar to come out of the area that has influenced today’s pop culture the most and produced the biggest superstars in music, including Future, T.I., and Young Thug. A relentless ambition, crafty street lingo, and authenticated storytelling, he began music career with the release of the attention-grabbing Lionhearted EP on streaming platforms in 2018, followed by the series’ sequel in 2019 following a near-death experience.
Building his fan base primarily through his already established popularity as a football player, he expanded upon it through music videos on YouTube, as a recording artist, Mufasa is stylish, raw, braggadocious, transparent, and undeniable in everything he raps. Recent songs that have gone viral include “Caveman,” “Out on Bond,” “Double Yo Grams,” and “Can’t Be Stopped.” The recently released album, Possibilities Are Endless (2021) — a follow-up to his 2018 debut album Lionhearted 2 — listed as the artist’s underground breakout project by several popular outlets, also identifying him as a 2022 artist-to-watch, Mufasa continues to prove he is an artist you need to have on your playlist.
