The Writers Matter program is transforming classrooms into creative hubs—thanks to Mt. Airy artist Andre Saunders, the program’s Poet-in-Residence. Each week, Saunders guides students to turn their stories into rap lyrics, encouraging self-expression and literacy through hip‑hop.
