After years of waiting, fans are finally blessed with a new album from SZA. The Top Dawg Entertainment chanteuse has announced that her highly-anticipated project, SOS, is set to drop December 9th.

SZA’s 2017 debut, CTRL, was a genre-defying album that featured collaborations with industry icons such as Phoebe Bridgers, Jay Versace, Travis Scott, Don Toliver and Wu-Tang Clan’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The record sold a whopping 275-300K units in its first week, putting it on track to become SZA’s first-ever No. 1.

However, fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of her second LP ever since. It’s no secret that SZA has been recording a lot of new material in the meantime.

In an interview with Billboard, SZA confirmed that she has recorded around 100 songs for her latest record. She also said that the project will be different from her 2017 LP, CTRL.
