Meek Mill & Rick Ross tease new music

Meek Mill and Rick Ross are reportedly back on good terms, as the two rappers were spotted previewing new music together during a studio session. The pair teased a new song on Instagram Tuesday night (March 14), posting clips and photos of themselves in the studio.

The Dream Chasers honcho and the MMG boss have been battling rumors of beef since May 2021, when reports emerged that Meek banned Ross from his birthday party in Miami and was looking to leave MMG. However, both artists seem to have moved on since then and are preparing for the release of their Dreams Worth More Than Money album in July.

Last year, Meek celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his debut album with a star-studded concert in Philadelphia, where he brought out a lot of friends. One of the highlights was the return of Meek’s iconic hit, “Levels,” which helped to make the rapper a household name on the hip-hop scene.

Meek Mill & Rick Ross reunite

Meek Mill & Rick Ross reunited during his hometown Dreams & Nightmares concert on Saturday (November 26). The star-studded show took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and the “Expensive Pain” rapper had a lot of friends and family join him, including Rozay.

The duo performed their 2011 hit, “Ima Boss.” They also tacked on the 2006 breakout hit, “Hustlin’” for good measure. Their performance quashed rumors that they were beefing, and fans were thrilled to see them together.

It’s clear that Mill and Ross are still close, even despite the reports of a feud last year. The two are promoting a new organization, REFORM alliance, that is helping incarcerated women get released from jail.

Meek Mill & Rick Ross perform

In what appears to be a sign that their rumored beef is over, Rick Ross and Meek Mill are reportedly previewing new music during a studio session. The former MMG kingpin and Dream Chasers honcho shared clips and photos from the sessions on social media Tuesday night (March 14).

The two rappers reunited last month to perform at Meek’s “Dreams & Nightmares 10 Year” anniversary concert in Philadelphia. It was the first time that they’ve performed together since rumors of their beef arose.

Meek brought out Rick Ross as his special guest during his show, which also included performances by Future, Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo, Jim Jones, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Rowdy Rebel.

During the concert, Meek addressed a variety of topics including his battle with the judicial system, incarceration and probation. He also highlighted the need for reform and spoke about his friendship with Jay-Z.

Meek Mill & Rick Ross drop new music

On Tuesday night, Meek Mill and Rick Ross shared a video from their studio. The duo is teasing a new song, and it sounds like something that’s more laid back than a club banger.

Meek & Ross haven’t released new music in a while, but they’re preparing to do it again. Their social media posts are teasing a new collaboration, and they say that the music is “coming very soon.”

This comes after rumors of a rift between the rappers last year, which were centered around Meek’s relationship with his label. He reportedly banned his label boss from attending his birthday party in Miami and was looking to leave MMG.

But despite these speculations, the two rappers reunited this past weekend at the 10-year anniversary of Meek’s Dreams & Nightmares album. He also had a host of other stars performing with him including Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Fif, G-Unit’s Tony Yayo and Moneybagg Yo.
