    Brii Elliss Unveils Soulful New Pop Album “Solitaire”

    Rising pop sensation Brii Elliss has just unveiled her highly anticipated seven-song album, “Solitaire.” As the title suggests, “Solitaire” symbolizes a game played alone, reflecting on the challenges and growth that come from being on one’s own. Drawing inspiration from her experiences with being single and navigating the world of dating, Elliss infuses a sense of empowerment, love, forgiveness, and emotional exploration into each track.

    The album kicks off with “Bad Idea,” a catchy, head-nodding introduction that sets the stage for the emotional journey ahead. Listeners will be drawn in by the sultry beats of “Hold,” the introspective lyrics of “Spades,” and the intoxicating rhythm of “Drunk on Me.” The captivating song, “What You Do to Me,” explores the challenges of falling for someone who mistreats you. As Elliss describes, “It’s that struggle of wanting to push those emotions aside, knowing it’s not healthy, yet finding yourself drawn back in for reasons you can’t fully explain.” The final song, “Spades,” offers a poignant reflection on a relationship that wasn’t meant to be.
    Brii Elliss is a singer-songwriter whose captivating voice and intimate storytelling have quickly garnered attention in the music community. Born to an Irish father and Puerto Rican mother, her unique background has influenced her distinctive R&B chill-pop sound. Collaborating with Grammy-winning producer Synematik, Elliss is inspired by artists like Amber Mark, H.E.R., Snoh Aalegra, Jhene Aiko, and Jazmine Sullivan.
    A New Jersey native, Brii’s journey began at the age of 12 when she auditioned for the X-Factor, making it through several rounds. She honed her songwriting and piano skills throughout high school, eventually moving to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in music, Elliss realized that music needed to be the focal point of her life, leading her to create captivating and emotional tracks on “Solitaire.”
