    Beyonce’s New Ivy Park Collection Highlights Black Cowboy Culture

With each new album drop, single release and even her clothing collection, she can do just about do anything without fail. Speaking of her clothing collection, the Lemonade singer just released a new Ivy Park collection that’s all about horses, rodeos and Black Cowboy culture. Leave it to Beyonce to rollout an awesome clothing line.

                Beyonce Takes Us To See The Rodeo

    When it comes to Beyonce, she never does anything small. The former Destiny’s Child frontwoman has made some of the most revolutionary pieces that have uplifted Black America. Her latest project, Ivy Park Rodeo, will fuse pieces of modern-day streetwear with the era of Black Cowboys.

    Moreover, the campaign seeks to shine a light on the often-overlooked influence of Black and brown cowboys and cowgirls on the American Western culture. The brand released an encouraging statement about the new Ivy Park Rodeo collection. “A bold celebration of classic Americana reimagined for today, this is a refreshingly contemporary take on classic Western wear.”

    On Friday, Beyonce released a promotional video to give fans a taste of what to expect. The singer striked several unforgettable poses and donned clothing pieces that fans will go crazy for. In one instant, she wore a blue bodysuit and cowboy hat all while riding the matching royal blue metal horse. In an additional scene, she stands in a ring of all while sporting a denim one-piece with a cowboy belt. Furthermore, the collection will drop on August 19. Honestly, the collection might just Beyonce’s best clothing line yet to date.

    The Campaign Featured A Real-Life Cowboy And Cowgirl

    Not only did Beyonce offer up some stellar looks from her new collection, but she also included some very special appearances. The campaign’s promotional video also featured real-life black and Latin cowboys and cowgirls. Furthermore, the promo ad showed award-winning Latinx ropers, Julian Jacob Alamillo and Emily Diana Alba.

    Additionally, “The Wire” actor Glynn Turman and his granddaughter Melinda also appeared in the ad. In particular, Melinda spoke about how horseback riding has impacted her life. “The life lessons I have gained working with horses have taught me humility, respect and the ability to be vulnerable . . . I am blessed to represent a secret part of American history by being a modern-day Black cowgirl,” Melinda said on Ivy Park’s Instagram. Beyonce has once again made history.
