Australian Singer-Songwriter Hayley Warner Release Her Newest Single “Breakups Ain’t Goodbye”

Australian singer-songwriter Hayley Warner recently release her newest single, “Breakups Ain’t Goodbye,” just before her performance at SXSW 2023. The song was written and recorded during quarantine in a spare bedroom of her apartment. It explores the question of whether a breakup necessarily means saying goodbye. The song features a beautiful second verse that leads into the second chorus.

Warner’s path to music was unconventional. As a child, she aspired to become a professional athlete until she was diagnosed with a rare disease and told she would never walk again. However, she defied the odds when a secondhand drum set became her physical therapy and helped her regain leg movement. 

This inspired her to learn to play the guitar and piano and to write music. Her debut single, “Closure,” has amassed over 12 million streams on Spotify and gained attention from other artists. She recently released “You Were Once” and has more music in the works. She will also be performing at SXSW in March 2023.
